A San Francisco photograph transformed into wearable art. This body-hugging stretch velvet dress features an original photographic print created from a street-fashion photograph I took outside the Beauty Bar in San Francisco's Mission District years ago. The photograph of a woman wearing a faux-fur coat was transformed into an abstract monochromatic pattern and printed directly onto the velvet.
The ruched construction lets you change the silhouette and length: scrunch it up for a short, sexy mini-dress or release the ruching for a longer, more sophisticated look. An attached neck scarf adds another distinctive styling element.
